A personal injury victim in Georgia is pushing back against the practice of insurance company surveillance with a multi-billion-dollar lawsuit. According to the suit, which was filed in Georgia state court last week, Luisa Cruz Mezquital became the target of illegal surveillance tactics when she pursued damages following a serious motor vehicle accident. She is requesting $13 billion in compensation from Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, which represented the at fault driver in the collision, and American Family Insurance, which insured the at fault driver. Two former Baker Donelson attorneys, Robert L. Shannon Jr. and Logan Moses Owens,…

Warnken, LLC once again recovered in excess of two million dollars for our injured clients last month. Forty-six cases concluded, either permanently, or, in the case of some workers’ comp cases, for now. Of the 46, four cases resulted in recoveries to the injured client in excess of $100,000. It’s crucial to remember that no two personal injury, workers’ compensation, or car accident cases are exactly the same.  The injuries, the lost wages, the medicals are just the start of determining the value of a personal injury case. Our job is to help you recover the most compensation possible for…
As vaccination rates rise and mask mandates drop, the long awaited post-Covid return to normalcy finally appears to be on the horizon. But for workers injured while implementing pandemic safety protocols, the world is still turned upside down. Case in point: a new alert from the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. It reports an uptick in shoulder injuries for bus drivers who must manually operate on-board plastic safety shields designed to prevent transmission of the virus from passengers. While the shields were installed to protect drivers, they seem to have had an unintended consequence. By repeatedly reaching…

Forty cases concluded; of the 40, three cases resulted in recoveries to the injured client in excess of $100,000. Please remember, when considering your medical malpractice, personal injury, workers’ compensation, or car crash case – no two matters are ever the same and our successes in the past don’t guarantee success in your case.
